German Gas News Summary

On Monday, German gas prices settled on a bearish note. Prompt prices edged lower which put a pressure on contracts further forward. Oil fell for a second straight session as peak gasoline use in top consumer the United States weakened with the end of the summer driving season, while tepid growth in the services sector signalled crude demand will be slow to pick up.

On the curve, prices were further depressed by the bearish oil markets.
